#Charitable, a citizen-led charitable foundation, have created a book in Sarnia-Lambton designed as a fundraiser to highlight local businesses, meant to inspire local children, and are now helping other cities produce their own local version.

The book follows a local student who is out to discover all the ways they can grow up and contribute to their community. Talking directly to community members and business owners, the child will learn about a variety of different jobs and roles within the community!

With the help of a Canadian artist and a writer, we will bring the businesses to life in the book. Businesses will be mentioned by name, and the illustrations include their likeness.

Local businesses are the backbone of a community and this book is a unique way for businesses to share their community spirit. It’s an opportunity to inspire kids and their families with a love for the community and teach them about the people and organizations that help make it so special! One of the stops in the book could be your business!

We are looking for like-minded businesses that would like to be featured in a children’s book. A book like this not only serves as an educational tool for children but also as a platform to highlight the incredible work your business and community does!
